ECU Remapping & Engine Tuning isn’t just our business, it’s our obsession. We grew from one man’s obsession with engine tuning. This obsession is still with us today. Our in house team of map writers are hugely experienced, our Head Map Writer alone has over 20 years experience in the industry and leads a passionate team of Map Writers and technicians. We have facilities that can only be described as state of the art. At the heart of our development facility lies our 4WD Dynojet 424 XLC2 dynamometer. Our dynamometer (often called a dyno or rolling road) is capable of measuring up to 4000bhp. It is capable of running both 2WD or 4WD vehicles. Its rollers are mechanically linked, as such they rotate at the same speed so as not to damage the differentials on 4WD vehicles or trigger ABS or traction control faults.
With our passionate and obsessive approach it’s little wonder that we have worked with vehicle manufacturers to tune for their race series.
We have been approached by race teams to develop their tuning strategies and write their remaps and delivered lectures on the subject of remapping at the Mechanex exhibitions and IMI seminars.
Our remaps are available through our network of over 200 dealers around the UK.
All our remaps are tested on our dyno and on the road to ensure they work in real world scenarios. Our remaps are developed to be useable on the road with linear power delivery and improved driveability. The ECU remaps we write are developed to offer improved performance, for more low-down torque and power and remarkably on diesel cars our remaps will not only give you more power but will give an increase in MPG.
